An important part of the network’s success is the invitation of guests to the discussions. Guests are often the experts in their fields, and are always passionate about what it is they do. The diversity of discussion can be seen in the list of our past guests.
Guests are invited to lead discussions. This often includes a video conferenced discussion where the guest presents on their work or views. We also include guests in the written discussion.
In particular, we welcome farmers, policy makers, and researchers as guests to subject themselves to a Student Lead Problem Solving session: if you have a problem that you feel the network members could help you solve, we offer short ‘consultations’. These sessions are primarily aimed at giving experience to future consultants (i.e. mainly students), and are not a substitute for professional advice.
