The network is organised around Working Groups. Each Working Group is organised slightly different, but they all share knowledge within the broad topic mainly through online written and video conferenced discussions. Network guests are a critical part of this knowledge sharing.

The following working groups are currently active:

• Agroecologists – careers, research opportunities, and the people doing great things
• Animals
• Direct Action
• Ecology
• Economics
• Plants and soils
• Politics, policy, and programmes
• Practicing agroecology – the science of the science and its dissemination, and case studies
• Social

Each Working Group has co-cordinators from the different partner universities. These coordinators help give the groups structure, and are all passionate about their topics.
